Welcome to Mud Tap, my name is Conor and this is the home of my handmade wheel-thrown pottery. I make functional tableware and sculptural pots in stoneware clay with the intention of making objects that are enjoyable to live alongside.  

 

Located in South Wales I began my Pottery Journey building a foundation in ceramics in Cardiff Metropolitan University. I graduated in the summer of 2022.

 

Since 2022 I've displayed my work at a handful exhibitions and craft markets selling work made for my end of degree exhibition at CSAD (Cardiff School of Art and Design).

 

Almost 2 years later, I've acquired all the equipment to set up my own studio. Each piece is thrown and trimmed on an electric wheel. Using raw glaze materials I mix and test my glaze recipes in order to be fired to cone 10 in my gas kiln.
